A paradise for water enthusiasts, Rock Lake is in the backyard of the Elm Point Cottage.
Enjoy swimming or wading in the sand-bottom & spring-fed lake. If you have your own boat and/or equipment, the lake is perfect for water-skiing, tubing, wake-boarding, knee-boarding, sailing, jet-skiing, wind-surfing, kayaking, canoeing, or fishing.

Aside from water activities, there are plenty of other things to do such as:

  1. Watch the sunset over the lake from the lakeside deck.

  2. Spend the day at Sandy Beach where you can swim, play volleyball, rent fishing boats, paddle boats at the bait shop (920-648-8800). Or enjoy a meal or snack at Herring's Sand Bar Restaurant's deck over looking the lake.

  3. Explore historic downtown Lake Mills http://www.lakemills.org

  4. Bike along the 52-mile long Glacial-Drumlin trail http://glacialdrumlin.com or bike 11-miles around the lake on city & township roads.

  5. Golf at the Lake Mills Golf Course in Lake Mills or the Lake Ripley Golf Club Course in Cambridge.

  6. Practice your golf driving at Topel’s Teebox on the south edge of Lake Mills.

  7. Play tennis on the courts at the Lake Mills High School.

  8. Go bowling at Lake Mills Lanes Sports Bar & Grill (920-648-5517).
